The startup incubator and accelerator, Lanzadera, in cooperation with EDEM Escuela de Empresarios and the investment company, Angels, is part of the Marina de Empresas entrepreneurship hub.
This is a Juan Roig initiative located in the Marina de València whose mission is to train, advise and finance entrepreneurs and which represents a commitment to the creation of wealth, employment and the promotion of the culture of entrepreneurship. Through corporate agreements, Lanzadera, together with large entities, promotes companies that provide disruptive ideas in different areas such as health.
BHH is a non-profit organisation founded in 2018 that aims to speed the transformation of digital health, promoting interaction between startups, health corporations and investors.
Its specific objectives include: generating innovation in health through technology, promoting startups in the field of health and encouraging interaction between startups, health corporations and investors to activate the digital change in health.
The Nutrition Research Centre is a basic-applied research body at the University of Navarre, attached to the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition and with the appropriate levels of autonomy to fulfil its aims. Its objective is scientific research, aimed at the development of products and services, the transfer of knowledge and the training of researchers in the area of Nutrition, Food and Health.
EIT Health is a network of top innovators in healthcare, with approximately 130 partners, and is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), an agency of the European Union. It connects all relevant health stakeholders across Europe, ensuring the inclusion of all three sides of the “knowledge triangle” so that innovation occurs at the intersection of research, education and business for the benefit of citizens.
This private foundation was created in 2013 and aims to accelerate business projects (startups), providing a community of mentors, experts, institutions and major companies who collaborate with them.
Its mission is to promote the Impact Economy, an economic model in which the main aim is no longer merely maximising economic profitability, but also its social and environmental impact.

The European Business and Innovation Centre of Navarre is a public non-profit company under the Department of Business and Economic Development at the Government of Navarre.

This union makes it an Innovation Hub specialising in the digitisation of corporations through collaboration with startups. Clave is a venture capital management firm with 20 years of experience in which it has made more than 90 investments, actively collaborating in the definition of the strategy and management of investee companies. The company has extensive expertise in technology transfer and healthcare projects.
A strategic project of the Bizkaia Provincial Council to promote a new sector of activity around ageing, health and long-term care. NIC is a space for public-private collaboration that aspires to transform the challenge of an ageing population into an opportunity for economic and social development. The coming together of such different but complementary and necessary aspects as technological innovation, the optimisation of care and the guarantee of specialist and sustainable employment makes the silver economy a suitable area of specialisation for Bizkaia.
Zebra Ventures is an accelerator and venture builder founded in Zaragoza that creates and accelerates zebra startups, i.e. profitable businesses that solve real problems and help contribute to social change by driving cooperation and sustainability. Its work does not stop there; it also invigorates the Aragonese ecosystem, connecting entrepreneurs, corporations and investment.
SofIA is the first business acceleration programme promoted by the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Navarre (DATAI), which puts startups in contact with innovative companies. The initiative already boasts the participation of AXA Seguros, BBVA AI Factory and Carrefour.
ANCES (National Association of European Business and Innovation Centers) is a leading association in entrepreneurship and innovation in Spain. Its 32 members, the BICs, have been promoted in the commitment of local public and/or private agents and are a key resource in the innovation promotion strategy in their respective territories.
ANCES is also part of the European Business and Innovation Center Network – EBN, with more than 150 certified BICs and 100 organizations that support innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.
EIT Food is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, designed to transform the food system. It is a European Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) which is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), an independent EU body set up to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe. Its main objective is to redesign the way food is produced, distributed, consumed and recycled, in order to create a “future-proof” food system.
The IBSAL is conceived as a space for biomedical research resulting from the relationship between the Regional Health Management of the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Castilla y León, the University of Salamanca (USAL), and the Spanish National Research Council , M.P. (CSIC).
The mission of IBSAL is to promote translational research by fostering synergy between clinical and basic groups, based on existing translational group models, in conjunction with optimising resources through common services and more efficient management structures.
X2.0 Driving Deeptech Growth is a programme focused on driving the growth of deeptech startups in Europe, which aims to help these startups scale by providing them with customised, industry-specific growth programmes. The programme focuses on five key impact areas: Manufacturing and Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech and BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data and Artificial Intelligence.
To select the Startups and SMEs that will benefit from the programme, X2.0 has launched and plans to launch 5 open calls, one for each key impact area. The project is composed of an international consortium including the global startup network F6S (Ireland), and the innovation consultancies Zabala Innovation (Spain) and ICT Hub (Serbia).
La Nave, Madrid City Council’s innovation center, is the meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, corporations and institutions that want to provide innovative solutions to current challenges. La Nave offers daily activities and training on new technologies and methodologies; working space and support for startups with programs adapted to their maturity stage; and the possibility of being part of a consolidated entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
In the different programs aimed at startups, they promote projects with innovative solutions in sectors such as eHealth and sportstech.
B-Venture is the largest financing and entrepreneurship event in northern Spain. With eight editions behind it, more than 1,000 startups, more than 8,000 attendees and more than 500 investment funds, business angels, corporations and family offices have passed through the Biscayan capital. B-Venture aims to be the sector’s meeting point, where the different agents of the entrepreneurial ecosystem come together every year to energise the country’s business fabric, form alliances and create business synergies with innovation as their banner.
The Ramón y Cajal Institute for Health Research (IRYCIS) is an accredited Health Research Institute of the Community of Madrid. Its main mission is to be a space dedicated to biomedical research of excellence produced at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. It currently has 42 research groups organised into 6 Areas, more than 1,100 researchers, as well as 25 European projects, 101 national competitive projects, 1,243 clinical trials, and 125 innovation projects that promote open collaboration and industrial promotion.
UC3M is a Spanish public university that excels in research, teaching, and innovation. It is the best university in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2024 and among the best universities for the employability of its graduates, according to the Global University Employability Ranking of the Times Higher Education (THE). UC3M is the first university in Europe to obtain the ACEEU dual accreditation for its contribution and impact on the industrial and social fabric and has other accreditations and quality distinctions.
Startup Congress Galicia is the biggest focus of investment, entrepreneurship and innovation, which aims to connect corporates and investors in the Galician entrepreneurial ecosystem with the most promising startups in the northwest of Spain.
The Madrid Science Park is a non-profit public foundation created in 2001 by the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) to promote innovative scientific and technological entrepreneurship and foster technology transfer.
The Foundation’s Board of Trustees also includes the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Energy, Environmental and Technological Research Centre (Ciemat), the City of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.
