CinfaNext at Madrid Connect 2025: driving Deep-Tech innovation applied to healthcare

On 28 and 29 October, CinfaNext participated at Madrid Connect 2025, at Talent Garden and organised by the Madrid Science Park (PCM). This event, already renowned as a national reference forum on trends and investment in deep tech and a meeting point for the promotion of technological and scientific development in the country, brought together the main players in the ecosystem: startups and scaleups, investment funds, corporations, universities, research centres, clusters, public administrations and other strategic agents.

Our visit to Madrid Connect: applied science and innovation

As part of the programme, Marta Pedrosa, Innovation Specialist at CinfaNext, took part in the round table “Smart health: science and data for the medicine of the future”, moderated by Micaella Martelli (Telefónica). Together with top-level speakers such as Ana Isabel Gonzalez (Comunidad de Madrid), Rosa Lillo (IBiDat), Ángel Sánchez (Quirónsalud) and Felip Miralles (Eurecat), they discussed how the convergence between biotechnology, artificial intelligence, omic analysis, sensors and digital platforms is redefining health, moving from prevention to personalised medicine. The main challenges for the adoption of these technologies in healthcare systems were also discussed: interoperability, scalability, regulatory frameworks and new collaboration models that facilitate secure and agile integration.

During her speech, Marta highlighted the role of the pharmaceutical industry in this process, promoting co-development initiatives with deep tech startups and helping these innovations to be integrated and scaled up in healthcare systems, both in the public and private spheres.
